Vision

Living Well
Our Communities shape our lives.   As your councillor, I will work hard to ensure you feel safe where you live.   As an emergency nurse, I worked alongside members of our police, fire and emergency response.   Their contributions to the wellbeing of the city must be supported.   As an active member of my west end community, I also value the energy and commitment of our volunteers and citizens.   I look forward to hearing your good ideas and supporting your efforts to create vibrant, healthy neighbourhoods.

Getting Around
West Edmonton needs better connections to the rest of the city.   In the short term, I will focus on supporting plans to complete Anthony Henday Drive, and upgrade Whitemud Drive and 170 th Street.   I will also work to ensure the city takes a strategic and consultative approach to long-term growth and traffic flow - and its impact on the everyday lives of Edmontonians.

Making a Living
As a business owner, I know first hand the dedication and commitment required to build a successful business.   Creating a positive, business friendly climate is critical to the prosperity and economy of our city.   I am committed to working with Council and city departments to develop processes that advance Edmonton's vision for promoting healthy business growth and diversity.

Securing our Future
Edmonton's ability to prosper in the future depends on the choices we make and the actions we take today.   I will use my experience in government and mediation to work with provincial and federal governments to build Edmonton's infrastructure.

Supporting Seniors
In my work as a Member of the Legislative Assembly, I met many seniors in West Edmonton.   I know the contributions they have made to this city and the challenges they face - from transportation to community services to taxation.   As a councillor, I will use my experience to make sure all levels of government work together to support our senior citizens
